Ty's - Stihl Handheld Equipment

Stihl was first introduced in 1926 and is a family owned business. In 1970 Stihl expanded by building a manufaturing plant in Brazil and US, which let to the more diverse product lines. In 1974 Stihl opened a Virginia Beach Virgina plant, that produced almost 200 different models of chainsaws and power tools for more than 80 countries.

Stihl Trimmers

Ty's Outdoor Power has a variety of stihl trimmers in stock.  The stihl brand trimmer has many models to choose from.. Stihl has a residental trimmer that is good for a simple homeowner and needs to trim around the yard.  They also have models that move up to the commercial grade trimmer which is for the proffessional or acreage people who may have a lot more to trim around.  These trimmers come in curved or straight shaft and the higher end models have attachements for brush cutting that works real well for the thicker weeds that need cleaned up.  Stihl is an easy to ue well balanced trimmer, lightweight and very durable.  Stihl is a fuel efficent trimmer with a rugged design. Stihl Edgers & Hedge Trimmers

Ty's Outdoor Power also handles the Stihl edgers and hedge trimmers.  The edger has the similar look of a trimmer but has the end of a edger.  They come in the professional curved shaft or straight shaft.  They are a very powerful and lightweight product.  Ty's Outdoor Power has several to choose from.  The Stihl hedge trimmer is designed for homeowners and professional use.  Stihl has a double blades and single blade system.  They also have electric start models and easy start models that make starting effortless.

Stihl Blowers

Ty's Outdoor Power also offers Stihl pole pruners that are ideal for trimming and pruning trees.  These machines also have low emissions engine which will offer the user more torque and power, as well as fuel efficentcy.  Stihl pole pruners start at a standard length but can also be extended for those hard to reach areas. These machines are great to have around the house for any tree trimming needs.
